formula1 without schumi

almost an entire season has gone by without schumi. do we stil miss him? hell yeah. ferrari seems to better this season than last year. this would have been a championship winning car had it been in his hands. but i think kimi and felipe are doing a decent job, there is no longer magic in the team. schumi in the pit wall cant put ferrari on the front. accepted that mclaren are loads better than they were last year. by the way were they there last year? hmm. i have to try real hard to think of one of any of their famous moments, n i stil cant think of any. perhaps alonso is a good driver who gives a lot of important inputs to the team or maybe he is just plain lucky to be at the right place at the right time.. speaking of the right place, i cant but mention about lewis. although he may be paced on a stage higher than he ought to be. but i take nothing away from him. he has just been phenomenal.. but has he filled the void schumi had left? yeah to an extend but no way close to filling it completely. schumi was more than a driver, he was a statistician when it comes to fuel and laps, a rock when he is ahead of a car trying to get past him, a mechanic when he gets out of the car into the garage. he lived, breathed on formula1. the best part is he knew exactly when to hang up his steering wheel.. very few sportsmen have been able to time it right, leave the stage before they run out of tricks. tht requires a clear mind and bold thought.. but come who may, lewis or kubica or anyone, he wil still remain the greatest, most technically equipped driver to have ever raced in the history of formula1.. but i bet anything he still thinks about formula1 even when he is asleep.. kudos to the seven time world champion.. but schumi formula1 will never be the same again..
